15+ years
International leadership experience.
For more than fifteen years, Serena Barberis led functions and teams in complex humanitarian contexts across Africa, Asia and Europe. That experience showed, every day, that organizations are not machines: they are living systems made of people, relationships, constraints, identities and responsibilities.

The Pivot Move was created to bring this perspective into organizations and coaching journeys: rigour in reading the system, respect for context and attention to what makes change sustainable over time.
We believe change can be ambitious without losing humanity, responsible without losing momentum and sustainable because it is built with people—not simply imposed on them.
